Hello!

We have good news to all of you who have said, "I go to bed at 10pm. Don't you guys ever start any earlier?" The answer is YES! The night before Thanksgiving, November 26th, we are starting at The Brooksider at 9pm. You could "go out" at 7:30pm, get liquored up by 9pm and enjoy the music until your cab arrives to take you home. We will be playing until 1am...and even longer if drunk people keep saying "Encore".

Do you ever wonder when the day is that you go from being young to being old? For some of you it will be today...the day you are reading this email. IF you still say 9pm is too late to go out, you have now crossed over...you are old. My advice: get yourself down to the funeral home, pick out a casket and a cemetery lot, then on your way home stop by Wal-Mart to get all the fixin's you need to make a really cool shawl, some prunes, a colon cleanser, a tasty fruit cake, liver and onions, a compass for your dashboard, an XM radio subscription to Muzak, a metal detector for the next time you go to the beach, a diary to keep track of the food you eat (old people love to talk about food), on your way home call Time Warner from your bag phone and add The Weather Channel to your basic cable subscription. Then you will have everything you need to really enjoy yourself the night before Thanksgiving should you choose not to go to The Brooksider. As you sit home and write $5 Christmas checks to everyone in your family, you can also be that old person who will call the police on "those kids" in your neighborhood for making such a racket.

Yeeesh. Anyhow, if the above isn't you, we have just equipped you with the perfect reason to sneak away from your in-laws and family the night before Thanksgiving (should you need a way out). Or...maybe you can bring your in-laws and family with you. The music is so loud you won't be able to hear them talk.

Comments? Is starting earlier better? Does Wal-Mart really carry all that stuff?
